Our take

Critical decisions are made every day by enterprises to optimise their solutions and scale business, and these decisions are influenced greatly by data. However, the amount of data that humans can process through traditional computing is limited, whereas advanced AI analytics can unlock further potential with a more comprehensive analysis of available data. InstaDeep provides an AI-driven decision-making platform for enterprises, leveraging GPU-accelerated machine learning to analyse problems and their associated data to tackle challenges across a range of industries and sectors.

Many startups help companies leverage AI to gain critical insights into optimising their business and solving challenges, but InstaDeep has taken a unique approach of using data directly to identify and solve qualitative challenges. The company also stands out by curating specialised AI development teams for each sector it works with, instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all approach to problem-solving.

InstaDeep was acquired by biotech firm BioNTech in January 2023. Having already partnered together on medical research, InstaDeep will now focus on developing next-generation immunotherapies with its parent company, and on supporting BioNTech's work including UK-based clinical trials for cancer vaccines.
