Our take

To help further the adoption of electric vehicles, InstaVolt provides charging infrastructure in the UK, with payment via contactless card or its own mobile app. The company's rapid charging stations are installed in the car parks of popular chains like McDonalds, KFC, and Starbucks, enabling EV drivers to charge their vehicles without wasting time or changing their habits.

Interest in EVs is increasing quicker than ever, in part from anticipation of the 2030 government imposed sanction on the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles, and InstaVolt will benefit from securing itself an integral place in the creation of EV-first framework. The company has raised considerable investment towards expanding its charging network, with the ultimate goal of operating 10,000 rapid EV chargers by 2032.
