Our take
Climate change and sustainability are still a leading issue for many corporate executives, but many businesses in the mining and metal industry do not have robust strategies in place. Intellisense.io exists to bridge the gap for these corporations between profits and climate impact.
Using industrial AI and machine learning, Intellisense.io analyses the processes and strategies of mining companies to help them become more safe, efficient and transparent - all whilst accelerating value. Inspired by the weather forecasting industry, the company focuses on minimising geological uncertainty (and hence risk) and reducing waste.
With debates around fracking becoming more immediate, and the circular economy a massive draw for companies, Intellisense.io has an advantage in that it speaks the language of mining companies. The founder has been working in the carbon management sector for two decades and smartly translates the benefits of sustainable mining into “decision intelligence”, helping companies see the positives of industry change through AI.
