To enable African businesses to see and control their own cross-border supply chains.
E-logistics in Africa is expanding across the continent and companies are looking to further streamline cross-border supply chains. But in a region of 17 landlocked countries, the continent often faces a number of problems when it comes to its supply chains.
Ghanaian startup Jetstream is looking to combat the inefficiencies within the supply chain industry by digitising African logistic networks and connecting importers, exporters and freight companies. It is now operating in over 14 African countries.
With funding from several investment organisations, including the Digital Africa Bridge Fund, ASC VC, Octerra, Alitheia IDF and Golden Palm, Jetstream plans to utilise the capital gained to further expand into new countries and continue the development of its technology platform.
