Our take
1 out of 3 women experience leaks in the UK and, globally, 400 million people experience leaks. However, as one of the most overlooked pain points, many people will be too embarrassed or awkward to seek help. Jude is aiming to remove this taboo and bring bladder care into the mainstream.
With community at the heart of their work, Jude is lifting the standard of incontinence products by creating fully compostable bladder pads and plant-based bladder care supplements. The also co-create with their customers, offering online exercise and educational content.
Through investment from the backers of Ocado, Zoopla and Charlotte Tilbury, Jude aims to take on this segment of the healthcare industry. With much of their customer base coming from the over-65s, whose business value is estimated at £320bn per year in UK alone, there is a clear, growing market through which the brand can build their business.
