Our take
When conducting business internationally, the most common problem to overcome is the language barrier between countries. Kudo is a multilingual virtual conferencing platform aiming to eliminate language barriers worldwide. It was launched in 2017 by Fardad Zabetian, who has been involved in the language and tech industries since the early 2000s, and has thus seen focused development from a specialist perspective.
Through its cloud-based platform, Kudo provides people and businesses with real-time interpretation to their web meetings, enabling them to connect by speaking their own language. Its emphasis on virtual conferencing solutions with on-demand interpreters means it is far more flexible for the modern day workplace than traditional, in-person translators, thus offering a convenient solution for businesses.
Kudo has shown show signs of growth over the years; it has readied the platform for the Chinese market, as they expand into Asia. Most recently, however, the company has made a breakthrough integration with Microsoft Teams where it will be able to offer interpretation to all meetings conducted on the platform, allowing Teams users to tap into use of the over 12,000 professional interpreters.
