Our take

Digital 3D assets are nowadays used everywhere: from video games, movies, e-commerce, product design, architecture, military, and the list goes on. However, there is a big problem. Although demand is huge and rising, supply is limited and highly manual. This is largely because digital 3D asset creation is a manual, time-consuming process. 3D artists are highly skilled people who spend years learning the steep learning curve software that allows them to create 3D content.

This is the problem Kaedim is setting out to solve. The company is building ML algorithms that turn 2D images, art and sketches into 3D models automatically. They are focused on the applications of the technology for games and have developed a web app and an API on top of their core algorithms.

Currently, Kaedim are working with game and metaverse devs on the following main 2 use-cases: accelerating in-house 3D asset production pipelines by 10x, and integrating 3D User Generated Content into games and apps.
