Our take
Pet owners always want the best for their furry friends, doing everything they can to ensure that their pet receives the healthcare, nutrition, and love that it needs. Whilst vets are able to provide some animal advice, the tools used and provided do not reflect recent technological advancements that allow us to gain a deeper understanding of each pet's specific needs.
Kinship develops pet care technology, including a DNA insight test for understanding the health requirements of specific breeds, a location-tracking app called Whistle, and a canine health prediction platform. The company partners with startups to deploy its pet care applications, with apps being produced specifically for international markets such as the U.S, Russia, and China.
Despite vast pet care app competition, Kinship has taken a uniquely broad mission of partnering with startups to aid in the development of pet care apps that fully leverage today’s technological standards. The company also stands out by working with clients to develop hardware, such as its wearable smart technology for gathering data points of dogs and tracking their location.
