Whilst services such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom have served millions in recent years, rudimentary audio setups have led to less than satisfactory voice clarity and privacy concerns due to background noise.
Krisp uses machine learning to reduce echo, audio artifacts, and background noise within digital conference environments. The noise-cancellation service aims to provide a more seamless communication experience, whilst isolating the speaker’s voice to avoid privacy issues such as conversation from family members.
Krisp has taken a unique approach to digital conferencing by embedding an audio quality optimization tool within existing digital conference software as opposed to creating their own. Founded in 2017, the company has seen inordinate growth in recent years with active users growing 20x and can expect this number to grow following recent series A funding.
