Our take
Landscape VC is a review platform for tech startup founders to discover and find investment opportunities. The site aims to provide transparent feedback from entrepreneurs on their experiences with European VCs and accelerators. During its recent beta phase, Landscape amounted approximately 700 reviews and has garnered 83 “Verified Partners” on the platform.
The platform reviews are provided by anonymous founders, who score VCs and accelerators they have interacted with on 12 different factors, such as Approachability, Diversity and Response. Landscape is free for founders to use but offers a paid subscription for VCs, enabling them to unlock premium services such as a right of reply. This helps VCs iterate their service with founders themselves offering the feedback to help them do so, while also remaining anonymous.
Dubbed the ‘Glassdoor for VCs’, Landscape does indeed mimic Glassdoor in its modern design and ease of use. Landscape’s intention is to start with the UK and Europe and later expand to the US market.
