Our take
German-based Lanes & Planes offers a business travel and expense management platform, and is one of the first end-to-end travel management tools that covers every corner of business travel, from booking to billing.
Lanes & Planes serves medium to large-sized companies, with 10 regular travellers or more, and consolidates all the information for the accounting department to easily sign-off whilst saving companies up to 30% of their direct and indirect travel spend. Its services are available across the globe but the company has more heavily targeted the German market, given the roughly €40B annual opportunity.
The funding it has raised so far has been used, primarily, to continue strong customer growth in the German market whilst improving and expanding the product offering, and so it will be exciting to see how the business grows over the coming years.
