Company mission

To make the best platform for group trips, taking on the bigger, traditional industry players.

Our take

Launchtrip’s group-focused travel app allows users to book trips, accommodation, transportation, events, and restaurants in their destination, while giving them the ability to invite others to join and split costs.

While the travel booking space is pretty well dominated by the likes of Agoda, Booking.com, Expedia, and Airbnb, Launchtrip’s special focus on group travel and cost splitting does fill a gap in the market.

The fact that the company also offers discounts for booking multiple rooms, an oversight by most legacy travel tech companies, could give Launchtrip an edge.

After securing promising funding, the company has invested heavily in its own advisory board, recruiting former leaders from legacy travel tech companies like Expedia and HomeAway.
