Our take
As the number of exchanges, wallets, and tradeable tokens multiplies, crypto trading gets more complex and cumbersome for retail investors - as does managing portfolios. Lazy Trader is a neat new chrome extension designed to streamline the experience.
The extension allows users to explore, grow, and manage their portfolio all through their browser. When a token name appears on a webpage, including social media sites like twitter, Lazy Trader users can pull up its chart and make simple one-click trades. Beyond trading, it also aggregates portfolio data to help users track the size and distribution of their assets across Kraken, FTX, Binance, and Metamask - with an aim to cover as many assets and exchanges as possible in future.
This simple and powerful UI-streamlining concept won Lazy Trade a place on Outlier Ventures’ Web3-oriented base camp accelerator programme, and it’s currently launched in beta mode. This means it’s still very early days for Lazy Trader.
As the retail trading ecosystem continues to flourish, however, the business is offering an unrivalled and highly valuable proposition that seems likely to take it somewhere big.
