To change the outdated view that fertility is a "women's issue" by creating an accessible, affordable product for males.

Reports suggest that one in six couples are unable to conceive after one year of trying, with a third of infertility cases in these couples caused by fertility problems in men. Based out of the Harvard Innovation Labs, Legacy is an at-home testing kit that aims to help men understand their fertility without having to visit a clinic.
In a similar fashion to systems like Ancestry and 23andMe, clients order a kit through the mail, with their sample collected and taken to a lab for analysis. The results are sent digitally, giving the client insight into data such as sperm count, volume, concentration, and motility.
The company is investing in expanding its optional analysis and cryogenic storage service add-ons. Legacy has rivals in the male fertility market such as Dadi and Trak, which offer similar services, while the startup Mate Fertility is opening modern fertility clinics around the country.
