LiveAuctioneers is an online auction platform that allows users from across the globe to buy and sell fine arts, antiques, and collectibles. LiveAuctioneers works with over 5,000 auction houses worldwide, including many of the world's most prestigious and well-known auction houses.
The company has come a long way since its initial launch in 2002, forming an early partnership with eBay to introduce eBay Live Auctions and get the business off the ground running. More recently, LiveAuctioneers was acquired by Auction Technology Group (ATG), an acquisition that will not only bring new opportunities to ATG but also further bolster LiveAuctioneers position in the auction industry.
A leader in web-based auctions, LiveAuctioneers has seen significant growth in recent years, with currently over 20M registered users on the platform along with being host to over $25 Billion worth of goods. Its rising status hasn't gone unnoticed as the platform has received numerous awards for its innovative technology and exceptional customer service.
