Our take
MPOWER Financing is a provider of global education loans, offering financing and scholarships to prospective students who often have difficulty accessing financial support. With its proprietary algorithm, MPOWER evaluates both international and domestic credit data, as well as future earning potential, to provide responsible financing to promising international and DACA students.
In collaboration with over 400 universities spanning the US and Canada, MPOWER has created a platform that has enabled more than 5,000 students to study abroad by providing them with a wide range of financing options. By fostering educational inclusivity on a global scale, MPOWER plays a pivotal role in breaking down barriers and ensuring students from all backgrounds can access quality education.
Already, the company has witnessed remarkable success, with record levels of enrollment for new international students in 2022. More recently, MPOWER closed a funding round led by Goldman Sachs, which it will use to further bolster its ability to provide loans to students attending its network of universities. This infusion of capital will fuel MPOWER's growth and enable the company to meet the increasing demand for its services.
