First things first, my 'interview process' felt more like a casual chat than an interview. It became clear that hiring the right people is paramount to their vision. I've never felt more comfortable around my colleagues. Of course it helps that Metomic prioritises 'social bonding' which is underlined by a Metomic team day every 6 weeks and annual trips abroad as a company, last year to Lisbon and Barcelona this year

You always feel heard, whether it's spinning an idea on a company stand up or raising a more serious issue at a quarterly company wide retro. We have a direct line through Slack with literally anyone in the company, as well as a head of people and chief of staff who are always looking for ways to make Metomic even better

My manager made the effort to sit down with me, understand what my career apparitions are and we worked together to make a plan of how I could reach my goal. There's an extremely flat structure within Metomic. Our sales lead and sole AE, Jacob Prime, encourages new ideas, experimentation, learning from both what doesn't work and does, accountability and professional development in whatever form you like - he'll support it and be your biggest champion. Our CEO, Rich Vibert, allows for plenty of autonomy in how the Sales team operate and supports us individually behind the scenes whether that's being hands on in sales calls, logistically with our work/processes/outreach etc or with regards to our wellbeing.
