Our take
Security systems can easily become complicated, expensive and tied to one supplier. And as organisations add more cameras, sensors and AI, they need a way to make all that technology work tother without starting from scratch.
Milestone's answer to this problem is its open-platform XProtect software, which brings cameras, data, analytics and other security systems together in one place. Its recent partnership with Hanwha Vision is a good example: Hanwha's cameras and analytics plug into XProtect, giving customers a system that can spot things, find information faster and help people respond quicker, without locking them into one technology.
XProtect is now used across more than 500,000 customer sites worldwide, while its platform continues to expand into AI, analytics and cloud technology.
