MindGym's mission is to help people use their minds more effectively, to get more from life and give more to others.
5% employee growth in 12 months
Mind Gym is a learning and development company that provides training and consultancy to some of the world's largest companies. With over half the FTSE 100 and the S&P 100 companies among its clients, the firm aims to improve company performance by leveraging psychological and behavioural science to transform how people think and feel.
Although founded over twenty years ago, the company has grown considerably in recent years. More than 250 Mind Gym coaches deliver lessons, both individual and group, in live face-to-face sessions, but customers can also choose to learn via animated videos, self-led sessions and interactive tasks.
Mind Gym maintains a strong financial position, with net cash totalling £10m as of March 2022 following significant investment during the financial year in the firm’s new digital products. It acquired the diagnostic intellectual property of 10X Psychology, in administration, to support this developing digital strategy.
The company has a clear strategy for accelerating revenue growth based on market-leading intellectual property, delighting its clients, and a significant digital transformation. Amidst stormy markets, however, Mind Gym swung to a loss in the first half of 2023, leading to its co-founder and CEO Octavius Black stepping down. Nevertheless, predictions indicate that 2024 will see the legacy company swing back into profitability.
