Company mission

Minima's mission is to create a completely decentralized network for information and value transfer, that enables individuals to exchange whatever, wherever and whenever they want, with others.

Our take

The true value proposition of Blockchain is anti-censorship - this allows users to send value from one party to another freely, and also means that no individual party is able to control, inflate, or dilute the supply. Creating such a decentralised network is the primary aim of Minima's philosophy. Their product - a base layer protocol that maximises all of the benefits of blockchain, whilst reducing existing vulnerabilities - is aimed at disrupting the current market for blockchain technology platforms.

This can be a tough market to break into, with companies such as BRD, BitMEX and Chainalysis already fiercely competing for market share. A key advantage for Minima against the rest of the field, is its ultra-lean file size, which allows it to be applied to a heavy range of options all from a mobile or IOT device. To date, scalable blockchain projects have required a specialised group of dedicated, powerful, and professionally operated computers to function. Being openly accessible and easy to use, then, opens up a vast array of potential use cases in which Minima can be applied, thus giving Minima a much larger potential market than some competitors.

Following the influx of new investment round led by Blockchange Ventures in recent years, Minima is now looking to complete the development of its protocol, and to build out its ecosystem of mobile devices and users.
