MixMode's mission is to reduce false positive security alerts by 95% across our customer base and, eventually, the industry.
Our take
Cyber security solutions providers have long been playing catchup against attackers, but MixMode is making a big attempt to disrupt the cybersecurity market with an AI enabled, self-learning platform.
With both a significant talent shortage in the cybersecurity industry and a rapidly shifting attack landscape, MixMode’s platform is designed to anticipate and prevent novel attacks, which make up as much as 80% of successful attacks, while also massively reducing false positives (when an alert wrongly detects a suspicious activity).
Considering that the MixMode platform is the first of its kind to meet DARPA’s “third wave AI” criteria, meaning that it needs no training data, no manual data input or configuration, it’s little surprise that the company has been quick to raise venture capital backing as it looks to double down on its momentum.
