Our take
Manchester-based Mojo Mortgages is an online mortgage broker. Its algorithm-powered mortgage recommendations - that draw from countless lenders - give customers more certainty around eligibility whilst ensuring they receive the cheapest deal both now and later on.
The company has long been working to deliver the best mortgage experience in the UK by, crucially, making mortgages easier. Given that the UK mortgage market is the largest in Europe, there is much demand to improve the mortgage experience. This is reflected in the company’s impressive growth year-on-year.
Its series A funding was one of the largest funding rounds for a company outside of London that year. The capital was invested into further accelerating growth by continuing to evolve its unique mortgage experience. It is even better positioned now, following its acquisiton by RVU, to rapidly scale the business.
