Our take
Moments of Space was started with the mission to teach users how to practice shorter form meditation, multiple times throughout the day. Its mindfulness app leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to gain a deep understanding of its users and provide tailored practices to accommodate specific need-states in a variety of contexts.
There is currently a trend toward mindfulness within the wellness sector, with the meditation industry now worth more than $1 billion in the US alone. By 2030, it is expected to be worth over $6 billion.
The competition in this space is fierce, with apps like Headspace and Calm taking up a large proportion of the market. Moments of Space's focus on AI and ML is likely to be the key to differentiating its product from other companies in this space.
