The company came about as a result of their founders’ terrible renting experiences. Having seen how bad things could get with agents, bad landlords and unloved properties, they knew something had to change. Movebubble is on a mission to make renting better.
Renting is a frustrating experience for many, and there are a number of startups in the space that are trying to improve it. Movebubble is not seeking to disrupt the letting agent side of the business but is providing services for the renter.
In London, around 50% of rental listings posted to websites are not live, left only for marketing and data capture purposes.
Movebubble is solving this problem for renters, pairing users with available properties while hiding their personal data from brokers. Users can also schedule viewings from within the app.
Movebubble plans to make money through a freemium model, with users paying a small fee for securing the listing through the app.
