Our take
As the IoT marketplace becomes increasingly important in the healthcare industry, the complexity of tech systems within hospitals has become increasingly hard to manage in-house. Navv Systems provides software that helps staff control and navigates care traffic, assets, and workflows.
Founded by a radiologist and a healthcare product manager at Detroit’s Henry Ford Health Systems, Navv Systems' flagship product Navv Track claims to be the equivalent of air traffic control for healthcare. Though its product covers many areas of medical operations and risks becoming a jack of all trades, its incorporation of real-time location systems, maps, and efficient Bluetooth benefits not only staff but patients navigating medical centers.
With seed funding and early VC behind them, Navv Systems is a recent contender in the space. Time will tell if they can contend with larger competitors in the American healthcare system.
