  • Diversity and inclusion is a core aim for our business. Estate agency, tech and finance are all sectors that lack diversity in them, and have in the past felt like exclusionary environments to work in. We're here to change that.
  • Building a diverse and inclusive environment isn't a "nice-to-have". It's a civic duty that you hold to do your bit. We all need to help create a world where traditional barriers like geography, race, gender, sexual orientation or others don't impact your ability to live a happy, healthy life.
  • Most people don't fully grasp the impact that comes from having a diverse and inclusive team. Inclusive workplaces support us in building a happy team. Happy teams lead to better outcomes. Diverse and inclusive environments can lead to diversity of thought being leveraged effectively, which is a huge competitive advantage to us making the best decisions as a business.
  • It's easy to say all of this though, but harder to do things about it. One of our values is Bias to action, so we're pleased to be able to shout out all the great work folks around the business have been doing towards D&I.
  • We remove barriers to diversity by sponsoring work visas.
  • We promote self-education through our anti-racism reading list (among other reading lists) which folks can buy using their personal learning and development budgets.
  • We've run workshops in collaboration with tech bootcamps, and volunteered at events like Rails Girls LDN. We give back to our communities in this way.
  • We have built diversity into the engineering growth framework, so efforts are called out and recognised.
