Neustark addresses the urgent need for effective carbon dioxide removal to combat climate change. Industrial CO2 emissions significantly contribute to global warming, and traditional mitigation strategies alone are insufficient to achieve net-zero goals by 2050. In short, solutions that capture and permanently store large quantities of CO2 are crucial.
Neustark does just this, capturing CO2 from point sources and accelerating its mineralisation, for example in concrete granulates from demolition sites. This process stores CO2 permanently and repurposes waste into recycled building materials, promoting a circular and low-carbon economy.
With 19 plants across Europe, Neustark is leading the charge in sustainable CO2 reduction efforts. With recent funding, it will support its mission to remove 1 million tons of CO2 by 2030 by expanding into new markets like North America and Asia Pacific.
