Newchip is a startup accelerator that was built to accommodate the hybrid and remote work environment. With three different programmes available, from pre-seed to Series A, Newchip offers remote, equity-free, and strategic solutions for startups looking to boost their funding.
Founded by four-time start-up founder Andrew Ryan, Newchip was launched in 2016 and saw rapid growth due to a societal shift to hybrid and remote work. In a bid to address the inaccessibility of San Francisco and New York as hubs for start-ups, the Newchip Accelerator programme is run completely online and allows founders to keep 100% of their company, an attractive proposition for these businesses.
With a portfolio of over 2500 companies with an estimated value of $9 billion, Newchip is certainly benefitting from its remote work flexibility and global reach. The company has attracted investors from Plug And Play, PayPal, Dreamit and Elevate Capital to its diverse network, boding well for its future in the market.
