Our take

This can be especially difficult if financial analysis isn’t within your remit, leading to a Sophie’s choice of spending outside your remit on a CFO, or taking on the numbers without the required skill set. Nume is a startup helping companies get off their feet with its AI-powered CFO platform.

Nume saves time and accelerates book balancing by monitoring finances, deadlines and relevant industry news, ensuring that new companies maintain momentum. Whilst it’s no replacement for a seasoned CFO at a large company, it could help new founders cut through the noise and reach the next level by giving them peace of mind over their finances.

Founded by the team behind financial management platform ScaleUp Finance, Nume has the right talent steering it to reach the next level itself. Though it’s a niche market it's targeting, it's estimated that 60% of startups fail between pre-seed and Series A funding, and better financial management may help close the gap.
