Since becoming a parent, i've become more aware of the Octopus open culture to flexible working. If I need to start later, finish earlier or work from home, it is never a problem.

We have a great Parental leave policy and actively encourage male employees to take shared parental leave, giving them the same benefits package as those taking maternity leave. This policy allowed both me and my partner to spend time with our son when he was first born.

I'm fortunate that i've had two promotions in my 3 years at Octopus, this is because your career really is in your hands and managers are really supportive. Career frameworks at Octopus are really clear and open, honest conversation about progression is welcome.
