OnTruck's mission is to revolutionise the road freight industry
-40% employee growth in 12 months
As the logistics sector intertwines more heavily with technology, data has become available which can provide insight and drive business decisions. OnTruck is a Madrid-based digital freight forwarding platform on a mission for sustainability.
The company combines technology, user experience and a powerful transport network to create the most efficient and sustainable transport service. The startup optimises the capacity of road shipments, by using data algorithms to predict optimum demand and to route shipments to maximize carrier utilisation. All while being conscious of its environmental impact. The startup claims it has prevented 728,000 kg of C02 emissions from entering the atmosphere. This is as a result of cutting down the journeys of vehicles without cargo.
OnTruck has partnered with European companies such as Auchan, Pepsico, P&G, Codorniu, GBFoods and Decathlon. The company aims to further fuel its international development and has already expanded in Europe.
