Our take

OpenPlay, a sports and leisure booking and management platform, has experienced remarkable growth and evolution since its inception over ten years ago. Initially serving as a marketplace for individuals in search of sporting facility bookings, OpenPlay has now emerged as a technology leader within the sports and leisure industry.

A significant milestone in OpenPlay's journey was the introduction of its latest sports and leisure management software, called Flow. Developed in collaboration with GLL, the UK's largest public leisure provider, Flow has been successfully implemented in over 250 sports and leisure centres. It serves as a unified platform for facility management, catering to the diverse needs of facility owners, managers, instructors, and individuals seeking to book activities.

With its rich history of continuous innovation, OpenPlay has cemented its position as a leading platform for booking and managing sports and leisure activities. Its platform now handles over 50,000 bookings a day and this number is only set to grow as the company expands its customer base among the the world’s top sports, leisure and higher education institutions.
