Our take
Operational Solutions Ltd (OSL) is a manufacturing and consultancy firm that provides tools and strategies for many areas of the unmanned aircraft industry. From drone manufacture to defense drones, OSL has been working with the likes of Lockheed Martin and Gatwick Airport with the aim of making aerospace safer for its clients.
OSL was founded in 2010 and has since evolved its technology exponentially. In 2019, OSL responded to the Gatwick drone crisis by partnering with the airport to install anti-drone defense systems and in October 2022, acquired artificial intelligence and video analytics company Rinicom to advance its AI-based image analytics.
With a medley of developing threats and innovations within the aerospace world, OSL is a much-called-upon company, consulting with the RAF and intelligence agencies regularly. Having received £8 million in investment at the end of 2022, OSL is flying high and continues to match the complexity of the UAV sphere with experience-led insight and strong partnerships.
