Outstanding Foods' mission is to make it easy for everyone to eat the foods they love with the nutrients they need.
Our take
Plant-based foods have become increasingly popular in recent years, with many companies beginning to sell healthy products such as plant-based meal kits, meat alternatives, and dairy-free cheeses. However, the snack industry has been relatively untouched due to the association of plant-based foods with healthy meals, presenting a significant gap in the market.
Outstanding Foods creates plant-based snacks that are both nutrition focused and delicious. The company is well backed by a serial entrepreneur, Bill Glaser, as well as the chef, Dave Anderson.
Whilst plant-based foods are nothing new, Outstanding Foods has recognized that existing producers focus too heavily on meals, dairy, and meat alternatives, without considering creating snacks. The company sells its products at its online store, in addition to at a variety of retail stores across the U.S.
