Company mission

Unlocking new creative possibilities for how communities build, connect and collaborate online.

Our take

Online community spaces have existed since the start of the internet in the form of internet forums, but innovations in web design have made social media platforms far more popular over the last two decades. Whilst platforms such as Facebook facilitate many forms of community engagement, community builders must follow a "one size fits all" approach, greatly restricting how a space can be used.

Outverse provides a development platform for online community spaces, with features including space customization through no-code building blocks, automation tools, native live streaming hosting, and integration with major community platforms. The platform uniquely encourages users to "escape notification overload", helping to facilitate this through custom viewing modes and organization tools.

Outverse have identified a gap in the market for a purpose built community tool. They have set themselves apart from outdated/legacy forum software and unscalable options (like Slack and Discord), and recently had a successful Product Hunt launch securing #1 Product of the Week. With a much needed product and investment from a top tier US VC, the company are well set to make an impact in this space.
