Our take
Oxwash was founded in 2017 by Dr Kyle Grant. What began as a student's grassroots laundry operation soon snowballed into a venture-backed business. The company now operates in multiple UK cities, and has enjoyed a high rate of growth since its inception.
Grant and his team utilise their backgrounds in microbiology to provide customers with the highest quality finish possible. Oxwash operates via an easy to use app and offers a convenient delivery service.
Oxwash differs from its competitors in its desire to eradicate its impact on the environment by using smarter technology, sustainable energy and reclaimed water. They have carved out a profitable niche in an otherwise highly polluting industry.
Their combination of scientifically backed cleaning technology, sustainability and convenience has given Oxwash a high degree of visibility, and secured a great deal of early and continuing investment.
