Our take
Compliance in large companies has become a vital focus through the 2020s, and Pagefreezer helps keep electronic records and record conversations that may be sensitive or important. Working through all stages of the information governance life cycle, Pagefreezer builds software for creation, retention, management and disposal of electronic data, all on one platform.
Founded in 2009, technology has caught up with Pagefreezer’s archiving solutions, as has the demand for its product. Remote work growth has led to rises in cybersecurity threats across platforms such as Slack and Microsoft Teams. It's built up a large clientele of companies of all sizes, including enterprises such as Lyft, Motorola and Equifax.
Pagefreezer has not publicly announced any funding since its founding, but perhaps it hasn’t had to, as more companies invest in software that can reduce the risk of data breaches on endpoint devices and in hybrid work environments.
