Our take
Inspired by a personal caregiving experience, Azi Doost and Nara Moripen, Pal's founding team, are on a mission to redefine palliative care, enabling millions of people to better care for a loved one with a life-limiting illness. Innovating in an essential yet neglected part of healthcare, Pal provides affordable and scalable digital support to improve access to high-quality care at a time when it is needed the most.
Today, more than 56 million families are paying the price of an overwhelmingly costly, inequitable, and inefficient care space. With the rapid aging of the world's population, the healthcare systems are entirely unable to meet the growing demand for care with traditional means. Moving towards digital care solutions is inevitable, and it's Pal's turn to disrupt and redefine palliative care.
Though Pal is still in closed beta mode, it has already raised $100K in startup funding from Antler Netherlands and aims to grow their team and accelerate their public product launch.
