Our take
Peony are setting out to reimagine file management and redefine what it means to be a cloud drive. The company are building a collaborative file browser for teams.
By setting out to create a paradigm-shifting file browsing interface for web-native-hybrid workflows, Peony is differentiating itself from competitors like Notion and Dropbox. Their approach means the company is not limited to solving problems within the existing web or native boundaries.
Its platform has raised a Seed round and is backed by high-profile investors, including Seedcamp and Biz Stone, the co-founder of Twitter. Now offering early access to the product, Peony is already being used by WEVAT, Twitter, University of Oxford and Oathello.
