Phantom Auto's mission is to enable the large-scale deployment of unmanned and autonomous vehicles through long-range remote operation.
18% employee growth in 12 months
Warehouses and other labor-intensive workplaces rely on forklifts, last-mile delivery cars, and other vehicles to fulfil their logistics needs. However, the danger and discomfort of operating such vehicles have resulted in labor shortages within the industry, highlighting a demand for an alternative solution.
Phantom Auto develops remotely driven vehicles that are designed to meet the specific needs of businesses' operations, facilitating the driving and operation of vehicles such as forklifts and last-mile delivery cars from a hardware steering wheel. The company connects remote drivers with jobs that need to be filled, allowing them to operate vehicles from a home or office setup.
Whilst other companies are using remotely-driven vehicles within the ride-hailing industry, amongst others, Phantom Auto has been smart to focus specifically on business logistics and the staff shortages that industries face. Its 2022 acquisition of Voysys AB, a video communication technology provider, has bolstered its efforts to provide the best and safest means of operating vehicles from the comfort of a home office, enabling the company to continue serving top-tier customers in the logistics sector as they move to combat the labor shortage, eliminate safety incidents, and boost their revenue.
