Our take
In the development phase of an architectural project, designers spend countless hours redrafting details. Due to poorly managed platforms, they may even end up redesigning already in-construction elements of a project. Pirros’s platform is an easy way for design firms to manage their architectural details and data, increasing the efficiency of implementing new and existing details from their database.
Pirros uses automation technology to store and aggregate information from a company’s previous projects, centralizing the process for designers. The technology helps with firm onboarding too, providing new architects and designers with easily accessible data to jump right onto new projects.
With a $2 million seed round awarded in 2023, Pirros is planning to expand its team and find new markets. There is also talk about developing AI products that can automatically identify design details and provide suggestions for projects, which would certainly be an interesting development.
