Our take
A spin-out of the University of Cambridge, Planarific is aiming to innovate the home renovation space with an AI-powered platform that can reduce costs and support home owners and designers in moving towards Net Zero.
The basis of the platform is to collect the spatial data of a home and generate feasible options for retrofitting the building, which is usually a very complex and costly process. Through this approach, Planarific should be able to support the transformation of more homes to be greener and smarter.
Supported by Innovate UK, the company is embarking on its mission at a time when the spotlight on transforming our buildings is getting bigger. This sets it up for future success, as long as it can deliver on its ambitious proposals.
