Fortnightly company updates and quarterly away days, plus open and honest communication in between, from the founders and leadership team means we always have visibility of upcoming work, our financial position and pipeline, and any other ups and downs across the business.

Planes is genuinely the most people-focused agency I have ever worked for and it's not just empty words and policies. A team full of lovely, kind, and relaxed people, and we're all different enough that it keeps things interesting and balanced. You'll make friends but also never feel "obliged" to attend anything you don't want to in order to be in the loop.

The Ops team will really listen to what the team needs and make decisions accordingly. We have access to mental and financial health support, as well as a personal and team development budget.

The office is a great space to work from, pretty much everyone works a mix of at-home and the office. A lot of us have done some fully-remote time as well, working from a bit further abroad. We're encouraged to come in on Thursdays but it's not mandatory and it's genuinely nice to come in. Flexible hours and additional unpaid days off are also a great perk.

Planes people are super friendly and kind - just a really nice bunch. People are generally keen to help each other, hop on an engineering problem and work through tricky stuff. There isn't a blame culture - just a "how can we get this fixed together" culture.

Planes' people policies are really exceptional - we have flexible working that fits around people's unique circumstances and needs, equal pat/mat leave, really fair sickness policy, free mental health support via spill, and good amount of annual leave. We have lots of checkins and are able to feedback to the team on things that are working well/need improving.

Everyone in Planes' opinion is valuable and we are encouraged to have a voice and sway in the way the company runs. It feels like no matter how junior you are, you are a key part of the Planes team. Senior leadership are open to suggestions and tricky conversations.
