Our take

As a result of the internet shifting from an opt-out to an opt-in model for any form of consumer data, the entire data ecosystem has been turned on its head. With the disappearance of cookies and IDFAs, brands have been left in considerable need of 1st party, user commissioned data.

Pogo have a solution to this problem with their consumer-first approach, enabling consumers to authorize access to their live data. Their app rewards people for linking different forms of live data feeds (credit/debit, SKU, location, payroll, etc.) and automatically uncovers hidden savings, earnings, and financial improvement opportunities.

A win-win solution for both parties involved, their app has seen huge initial success. They have grown 70% monthly and we've surpassed $MM run rate within 7 months after launch. Pogo have raised $15M from top investors, including the founders of Honey, Carta and Rent the Runway; the CPOs of Uber, Adobe, and Oracle; and VCs like Josh Buckley, Slow Ventures, Village Global, and Shrug Capital.

Moving forwards, they will be investing this recent funding into launching an API that allows any business to ingest user permissioned data feeds to power their machine learning, marketing and insights workflows.
