Our take
There is over £700 million of UK government childcare funding that goes unused every year because it’s hard to access and often parents & carers don’t even know they are entitled to it.
Ponchopay are setting out to change this. By building the payment infrastructure to seamlessly unite government and employer funding at checkout, they process childcare vouchers & tax free childcare to substantially reduce the cost of childcare.
Poncho was developed by Kamet Ventures, which is backed by AXA Insurance Group. Their platform is already used by impressive companies such as Tech Nation, Douglas & Gordon, Hogarth and JCDecaux.
