Our take
Today, many startups are spending hours on end in Quickbooks, a tool built in the 1980s for accountants, or they pay bookkeepers expensive monthly fees to manage their accounts for them. Even then, these solutions often result in many errors costing startups valuable time and effort.
Porter is an accounting platform for startups to manage their taxes, bookkeeping, and investor reportings. The platform is modernizing the process of bookkeeping and making it fast and accessible through its self-serve software and easily integrates with a number of financial tools.
With pre-seed funding under its belt and a place in the YC Winter 2023 batch, the future is full of promise for the San Francisco-based startup.
