Selling or buying a home is an extremely stressful process, involving lengthy waits and complicated paperwork. Overall, it takes on average 6 months to buy or sell a home in the UK, and even then 1 in 3 transactions simply collapse.
Propelr is a company challenging this norm. It’s developing a platform with the ambitious aim of shortening this process to fewer than 4 weeks - a feat which would no doubt make it a popular alternative to the more traditional options available.
The founding team is an impressive mix of property industry veterans and unicorn startup builders. The company is in its early days but is already revenue-generating. Overall, the concept is an exciting one and definitely one to watch.

In contrast to so many startups looking to solve totally unnecessary problems, I was really drawn to Propelr's mission to change the way we buy and sell homes in the UK. Buying an apartment in London is such a stressful experience – it definitely was for me – I joined to help change the way we do it for good.

I love to go to the gym when it's quiet, around 3pm, two or three days a week. I compensate by doing a bit of work in the evening after dinner. This really works for me and allows me to balance my health and my career. I love that Propelr trusts me to manage my own time.
