Our take

Many people live from paycheck to paycheck and have difficulty saving money. The market is also lacking user-friendly joint banking options. Qapital offers a mobile banking app built of behavioral science.

It helps users to save money through gamification of their spending behavior. Money can be saved in small increments through purchases and other financial and personal activities. It is the first app that provides a holistic money planning tool for couples. Helping them with their shared saving, spending, and investing goals.

Qapital currently has over 2 million users. Whilst it competes in a competitive market amongst many challenger banks, Qapital's behavioral principals separates it from others in the market and will be a significant factor in their longevity, as people will naturally migrate to the most helpful tools over time.
