Our take
RYDES is a mobility budget platform that has set out to redefine and simplify access to modern mobility. It enables companies to provide their employees with a monthly budget that they can use for a range of mobility services, such as car and bike sharing, e-scooters, shared taxis, and public transportation. By integrating various mobility providers into its platform, users are able to book their trips and manage their budget from its convenient mobile app.
Developed as part of the Lufthansa Innovation Hub, the company’s platform seems set to see growth given how it truly provides value to all users of its platform. Integrated travel providers can earn additional business, companies can offer their employees a new benefit, and employees have access to a flexible and sustainable way of travel. Currently available in German-speaking countries, RYDES is focused on driving international expansion and expanding its team.
