The need for luggage storage often dampens the freedom of travel, which is why the B2C app Radical Storage has created a network of storage locations across more than 70 countries. The company works by connecting customers with “Angels” - storage locations that could be self-storage businesses or enterprising retailers, allowing users to book a secure location to store their belongings.
Though there are competitors in the space, Radical Storage stands out due to its Angels being not only storage-focused businesses, but also cafes and supermarkets with space to spare on their premises. Radical Storage has enjoyed several rounds of funding that will help it connect even more customers with its Angels, with the aim of reaching 70,000 locations by 2027.
